Maot Chittim appeal 2025/5785

 Dear Shul Members,

Though we all feel the sad loss of Moshe Loshinsky, others need not be made to do so too. Moshe’s prime project was the annual Maot Chittim appeal. This raised large sums that the shul was able to distribute to genuinely needy members of the poor of Jerusalem. Moshe raised the money, closely scrutinized the needs of those who applied for assistance and distributed it accordingly.

By supporting this year’s Maot Chittim appeal, you can perform the mitzvah of tzedakah, support the poor who live closest to us and respect the memory of a man who dedicated himself to this important cause.

Please give generously and ease the position of our less fortunate neighbors as Pesach approaches, so that no necessity for the festival should seem in their eyes to be a luxury. How can you donate? Details appear below,

Thanks so much in anticipation,

Jeremy Phillips (President)
